Furniture Care Tips

Follow the tips listed to help keep your fabric or upholstery-covered furniture looking its best for a lifetime of enjoyment.

1. AVOID exposing your furniture to excess amounts of strong sunlight, avoid exposure to hot radiators, heat outlets, and dampness.
2. VACUUM your upholstery regularly. You should vacuum it as often as you dust the furniture. Do not use a powerbrush.
3. TURN AND FLUFF all unattached cushions and pillows regularly, helping to evenly distribute the wear.
4. TREAT all spills, spots and stains immediately.*
5. AVOID soaking the upholstery during spot cleaning as this may leave its own stain.*
6. TREAT fabrics with common sense. Keeping food away from fabrics is just one way to add years of life to your investment.
7. DO NOT unzip the cushions to have the covers cleaned. The zippers are there for the manufacturer's convenience. The covers may shrink and/or lose their shape when cleaned. DO NOT machine wash.*
8. SELECT a reputable professional cleaning company when overall cleaning becomes necessary.*
