How does the rental process work?

Is there a discount for a longer lease?

Yes! The longer you rent from us, the lower your monthly payments will be. We’re here for your convenience. Rent for as short or long a term as you need. We have several flexible options to suit your needs. (Minimum charges may apply if you rent for less than a full month. Contact a rental agent for more details.)

I have a discount code for savings off my first month’s rent. How do I redeem my savings?

During the online checkout process, you will have the opportunity to enter your savings code to receive your discount. Or, if you’re ordering over the phone, mention the code to your rental agent and they will apply it to your order. (Savings offers cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion.)

What is the initial payment?

The initial payment consists of your first month’s rent, a fully refundable security deposit, (typically equal to one month’s rent) and the round-trip transportation fee.

How much do you charge for delivery?

IFR’s transportation charge includes delivery, set-up and final pick-up. Transportation charges for residential and office furniture start at $110.00 for round-trip delivery and $55 for one-way; both prices depend upon the number of pieces ordered.

What if I need to change my order after I sign the contract?

You can change your order up to 48 hours before delivery if needed.

What if I need to change my order after it’s been delivered?

IFR guarantees your satisfaction and offers a five (5) day grace period for add-ons or exchanges after delivery, free of additional delivery charges.

When my lease expires, do you automatically pick-up my furniture?

No. IFR understands that circumstances change. Our contract continues month-to-month until you give notice and schedule your pick-up. Please give us at least two weeks’ notice if you have a specific date in mind. This ensures we can accommodate your schedule.
 

HOME FURNITURE FAQ’s

Do I have to be at home when the furniture is delivered?

No. Simply provide us with instructions for entry and we can have your furniture set up before you arrive. Additional options include designating another person to accept the furniture order on your behalf or asking that our driver calls ahead of arrival so that you can meet the crew at the delivery location, freeing up your day to attend to other important details of your move.

Can I rent more or less furniture than what is included in the package?

You’re always in complete control. Rent as many or as few items as you need. If you don’t find an item that you need listed on our website, please contact us. It’s possible we can still fulfill your specific need.

Do you have housewares or electronics available for rent?

Most certainly we do! IFR offers complete houseware packages for the kitchen, bedroom, and bath. Some houseware packages include Flat-Screen TV, DVD player, microwave and more. The price depends on the package selection and size of the apartment or home. See Housewares and Electronics for more information.

Will I receive the exact style of furniture that I select?

We do our best to deliver what you select, but should your product not be available we will inform you prior to delivery, and offer you a comparable selection. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.

Will all of the rental items be brand new?

We cannot guarantee that you will receive brand new furniture or housewares items. However, you can rest easy knowing that any items you do receive that may have been previously leased have been inspected, professionally sanitized and are in good working order.
 

Do you charge for your apartment locator service?

This service is provided absolutely free with furniture rentals! We’ll use our information database of apartment communities to assist you in finding your ideal new apartment home!
 

HOME STAGING FAQ’s

Can I stage my home using furniture from your rental packages?

Absolutely! When you want to cover the basics of staging your home, selecting options from within our packages may be the best solution for you, while keeping an eye on expenses. Our Rent by Room option can help those that want to mix and match styles from different packages. For more comprehensive home staging services which can include a professional designer’s assistance and add-ons like unique accessories, artwork, rugs, or custom items not found within our packages, visit our Home Staging area or contact us for more information.

Will staging my home really make a difference when I am selling my home?

Do you have any samples of past homes that your interior designers have staged?

You can view our online portfolio on Houzz which showcases a diverse sampling of homes we’ve staged. Be assured that when you choose to stage your home with IFR that our interior design professionals will do their utmost to ensure that your home is as attractive and appealing as possible.

Do you offer home staging services for realtors or home builders?

How much do you charge to furnish an office?

Every work space is different. Please browse our office furniture available for rent and build your wish list of items to get the quotation process started.

How do I place an order for renting office furniture?

You may either call us directly, or Browse Office Furniture to build your wish list. Once you submit your list to us along with your contact information, an office design consultant will contact you to answer any questions, provide you with a detailed quote and initiate the rental process.

Can you assist me with the furniture design & layout for my office?

Our experienced and skilled office design consultants know what it takes to create a fully functional work space. They can assist you with making the most of your square footage and make setting up your office hassle-free. We offer quality office components from the nation’s leading manufacturers including Hon, Maxon and many more.

Do you sell office furniture?

We certainly do! Our full line of office furniture and office accessories mean we can fulfill any corporate need including panel systems, cubicles, filing systems, bookcases, conference and reception, desks, seating and more, usually within a few days.
